No, that tree is for Linus to pull from only. You need to clone Linus's tree first before you can pull from that as it is only a "shadow" tree. Anyway, it doesn't contain much of anything, it's a "transfer" tree only, it doesn't contain the set of patches that are queued up for the next releases.
