As it was noted, this is going very slowly. > > > So please, don't try to route around me just because you don't like the > > > proceedure we have in place here. > > > > So, if you are saying, that it's due to "procedure", why there are such > > obvious USB fixes after 2.6.21-rc5, hm? Non corporate (supported by TI) users of this driver, that i know, are developers (and users) of GCC port for MSP430 controllers. And there were many question regarding this driver since last summer. That people are not kernel developers or ever those, who know, what mm-tree is. It took me too long to be aware of the Linux kernel dev. process (among other things connected to it), yet nobody has sent patches. Thus, i'm pushing this tiny change after waiting for Al, or anybody else. > And yes, I can see how it would be nice to have this change in, but > again, it's a _change_ not a bugfix, and not a regression from the > 2.6.20 kernel release at all. Change, that broke nothing in the (non working by default) userspace, it does conversely. > So please, just be patient. Reading archives, when you've started and todays bureaucracy you are talking about, i just going to be very upset and sad...
