None of these patches exhibited the problem. The third one couldn't read the USB device descriptor, but the 4th patch fixed that. I noticed these patches only touched files in drivers/usb/host, did anything change in drivers/usb/core or other places in the same time frame. Or are there other patches prior to 2.6.21-rc1 that I can try?
