In most cases of sweeping API changes in Linux kernel it's the respon- sibility of whoever is doing the change to fix up the affected code. The capability of doing that (without the overhead of coordinating with dozens of maintainers) is exactly why we want drivers in the tree. That said, we can help Alan and Co. if something gets overlooked. If gigaset or ub stop break, you and I will fix them up. The goal is to get rid of drivers referencing urb->status.
