To answer my own question the Intel PIIX3 currently does not work. I finally broke down and yanked the SIIG 5-port card from one of my Macs, and put it in the lonely free PCI spot, I was hoping to save for my FW card, and my belkin omniview usb kvm, my logitech iTouch keyboard and mouse, and the mouseman wheelmouse all are working great. Next is the Visor Cradle and hopefully the card-reader..
