Hello,
My parents got me a PDC-1100 without checking this list first--making me an
ingrate if I complain! ;-)
I've been using it under Windows, through VMWare, via its serial port--but
I am sick to death of seeing the message, "Communication Channel is Error".
:-(
Has anyone gotten it working under Linux, either via serial or USB? If
not, how would I go about trying to get an existing driver to control
it? I'd settle for anything; mounting it like a filesystem or driving
it through gphoto (which, incidentally, can't seem to drive it in serial
mode).
I'm willing to try a few things before laying out $200 for a new
camera, though the thought of a camera mounted on the filesystem makes
me slobber...
Can anyone help?
