I try mandrake beta 8 (trakopel) and redhat beta 7.0.99 (wolverine).
And with both of them I can't acces to the usb-printer port. If I do
a "cat someting > /dev/usb/lp0" nothing append ! No error, no
printing. the last time I was able to send something to the printer
was with the old mandrake 7.2. with 2.2.17 and the usb backport.
I want to know if someone have the same problem or if someone have a
turnarround
By the way, the printer is an epson 777, the computer an athlon with
asus k7m (via chipset) who work great with my usb epson scanner !
