I've installed the Debian hotplug package.
I run linux 2.4.3-acxx

I've an usb scanner Epson Perfection 1640SU

It works perfectly as soon as I do a 'modprobe scanner'.

I wanted to use the hotplug feature, but it does not seems to work here.
Here are the message I get when I swith the scanner off / on. 
When I start the system, hotplug load the usbcore and usb-ohci modules.

What does this mean ? Any idea ?
