Hi all,

I've been using the 2.4.1 kernel usb drivers with a Swissonic Studio usb
digital audio interface on a Toshiba 2105 CDS notebook (OHCI).
Everything has been working pretty well: full-duplex, 44.1kHz, 16-bit
stereo. The only problem is that every so often (30 sec to a minute) I get
a small click when sending audio to the device. It seems that every once
in a while a zero gets sent instead of what I'm sending, since if I send a
stream of zeros no clicks are heard and they get progressively louder
as I send higher DC offsets. I've tried various methods of frags and
fragsizes as well as monitoring disk activity and the like, but nothing
seems to completely solve the problem. I imagine somewhere in the line the
data is being dropped. Has anyone else had any experience with this? Any
clue? I was wondering if anyone knew whether or not using mmap method
instead of read/write might help too? Any help would be greatly GREATLY
appreciated.

Thanks,
--
