-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----

I'm sure this is a trivial question for most of you but here goes
anyway...
Earlier today, I had a USB mass storage device working (my CF card
reader). I mounted /dev/sda1 and voila, there were all of my photos.
This afternoon, I installed a CD-RW drive, and set up ide-scsi
emulation, so I can use cdrecord, cdrdao, etc. Apparently as a
consequence of that, my flash card reader is no longer availible at
/dev/sda1, nor at sdb1, sdc1, etc etc. All of these devices give me
"XXXX, unknown device" when I try to mount them.
        /proc/scsi/scsi contains the following:

Attached devices:
Host: scsi0 Channel: 00 Id: 00 Lun: 00
  Vendor: MITSUMI Model: CD-ROM FX320M !B Rev: m01
Type: CD-ROM ANSI SCSI revision: 02
Host: scsi0 Channel: 00 Id: 01 Lun: 00
Vendor: SAF Model: CD-RW4224A Rev: 1.20
Type: CD-ROM ANSI SCSI revision: 02
Host: scsi1 Channel: 00 Id: 00 Lun: 00
Vendor: SanDisk Model: ImageMate II Rev: 1.30
Type: Direct-Access ANSI SCSI revision: 02

scsi_info doesn't give me any interesting information about the devices,
just "open() failed: No such device or address".
The card reader still shows up in /proc/bus/usb/devices just fine:

T: Bus=01 Lev=01 Prnt=01 Port=00 Cnt=01 Dev#= 2 Spd=12 MxCh= 0
D: Ver= 1.10 Cls=00(>ifc ) Sub=00 Prot=00 MxPS=64 #Cfgs= 1
P: Vendor=0781 ProdID=0002 Rev= 0.09
S: Manufacturer=SanDisk Corporation
S: Product=ImageMate CompactFlash USB
S: SerialNumber=000000000002
C:* #Ifs= 1 Cfg#= 1 Atr=40 MxPwr=100mA
I: If#= 0 Alt= 0 #EPs= 2 Cls=08(stor.) Sub=06 Prot=50 Driver=usb-storage
E: Ad=82(I) Atr=02(Bulk) MxPS= 64 Ivl= 0ms
E: Ad=02(O) Atr=02(Bulk) MxPS= 64 Ivl= 0ms

But I have no idea how to figure out how to access it. Are there tools
for figuring this kind of thing out? Does anyone know just from looking
at the information above what the device would be? Am I even looking at
the right problem?

I'm not subscribed to this list, so if you respond, please CC my
e-mail. Thanks!
