-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----

I've investigated some more, and discovered that the scsi-generic
deivce /dev/sg2 appears to be my CF card reader (as described below). But,
it's a character device, not a block device, so I can't mount it. I did
scsi_info on every device starting with "s" in /dev, and that was the only
one that was associated with the card reader. If anyone has any
suggestions for getting ide-scsi and usb-storage working at the same time,
I would love to hear them. My prior message (which had a poor title) is
included below. I saw that in the archives there were other people having
trouble with usb-storage and other scsi devices, but none of them seemed
to have the devices listed in the /proc/scsi and proc/bus/usb areas. They
also didn't seem to have any clean solutions... Is there some way, given
the correct SCSI HBA, bus, id, and lun, to use mknod to create a device
that would correspond to it? I've tried using "scsidev", and it creates a
block device corresponding the the USB CF card reader, but it behaves just
like /dev/sda1: scsi_info says "open() failed: no such device", and mount
says "mount: sdh1-0c0i0l0: unknown device" :| So, I think something is
wrong.
