Hi,

I have a problem getting the USB controllers on my Jetway 542C (Aladin V
chipset) working.
Whenever the usb-ohci driver is loaded (either linked into the kernel or as
a module),
I get the message:

usb-ohci.c: USB HC TakeOver failed!
usb.c: USB bus -1 deregistered

Linux: 2.4.3 & 2.4.4

BIOS options:

USB enabled
Legacy USB Keyboard support enabled

If I switch off the legacy keyboard support it works.

As I have a USB keyboard, and I need to select Linux from the boot menu with
it, this
isn't a long-term solution.

Anybody got any ideas?

Thanks,

Adrian.
