more details:
here are the message I get at the beginning (look good)
usb.c: registered new driver ov511
ov511.c: USB OV511+ camera found
ov511.c: camera: Creative Labs WebCam 3
ov511.c: Sensor is an OV7620
ov511.c: ov511 driver version 1.40 registered
and here is what I get when I try and run xawtv's webcam:
[root@localhost bastien]# webcam webcam.conf
reading config file: webcam.conf
v4l: open /dev/video0: Cannot allocate memory
no grabber device available
dmesg:
uhci: host controller process error. something bad happened
uhci: host controller halted. very bad
usb_control/bulk_msg: timeout
ov511.c: reg write: error -110
at the same moment, the little green light on the camera turns off.
other point: I managed to succesfully mount /proc/bus/usb/ , thanks for
helping !
