Which kernel options? Which architecture? Do other devices work? Which drivers are you using? Which interrupt settings? How about providing the contents of /proc/bus/usb/[drivers, devices] How about you file a proper bug report (see FAQ if necessary, at http://www.linux-usb.org) and I will help you through this.
