Hi everyone, I have some problems with HP8230e cd burner. No problems for the drive to be detected, same to mount a cd and see its directories contents. But when it comes to read any file it starts to produce a neverending list of messages similar to these:
usb-uhci.c: interrupt, status 8, frame# 1696 usb-uhci.c: interrupt, status 20, frame# 1696 usb-uhci.c: interrupt, status 8, frame# 1697 usb-uhci.c: interrupt, status 20, frame# 1697 usb-uhci.c: interrupt, status 8, frame# 1698 usb-uhci.c: interrupt, status 20, frame# 1698 The frame numbers go incrementally, but not necessary one by one, and then after some frames it restarts from a lower number. Nothing gets copied this way and there is no gentle methode to stop it. Surprisingly there are no problems with burning cds with cdrecord. At the start it prints like two lines of the above type and then everything goes smoothly producing a correct cd.
