I think I might have broken it when I first merged it to Linus (around
2.4.10?).
Can you try commenting out all the stuff in the multicast setup routine
(CDCEther_set_multicast()), and recompile, and tell me if it helps. If so,
I'll do a patch for the 2.4 kernel, and try to fix it properly in 2.5, and
then backport it.

I just don't have any time this week to fix it.
