Hi everyone,

I've got a little problem with my USB digital camera (Olympus C2100UZ).

When I plug it in to my PPC, the console tells me that it doesn't
recognise it, which is fine. Then I start ghoto2 to download the pictures
and the machine locks up, requiring a reset. This happens everytime,
without fail.

An error is displayed upon locking up;
Machine check in kernel mode.
Caused by (from SRR1=41030): Transfer error ack signal

Can anyone enlighten me as to what this might mean? :)
And perhaps where to start at fixing it?

I'm running a fresh install of YDL2.1, with kernel 2.4.10-12a,
ghoto2.0-beta3 and libusb-0.1.4.

The last entries in /var/log/messages before I hit the reset button
aren't very useful, but I'll include them just incase;
Dec 18 11:26:30 cube kernel: hub.c: USB new device connect on bus2/1/4,
assigned device number 4
Dec 18 11:26:30 cube kernel: usb.c: USB device 4 (vend/prod 0x7b4/0x100)
is not claimed by any active driver.
Dec 18 11:26:30 cube /etc/hotplug/usb.agent: ... no drivers for USB
product 7b4/100/100

Thanks,

Tim
