I've been trying to get a Microtek Scanmaker 3600 to work, and I'm
stuck at getting a USB driver to recognize it.

It shows up under /proc/usb/devices, but with only one endpoint:

I: If#= 0 Alt= 0 #EPs= 1 Cls=ff(vend.) Sub=ff Prot=ff Driver=(none)
E: Ad=82(I) Atr=02(Bulk) MxPS= 64 Ivl= 0ms

As I understand it, a scanner needs at least 2 endpoints, an input and
an output.

Other people have reported getting this scanner to work, but this
seems like a show stopper.

Anyone else seen this, either with this device or another?

 -Joel Auslander

P.S.

I'm now running kernel 2.4.16, but saw the same under the Red Hat 7.1
version of 2.4.2.
