Ive got a sony dsc-p50 still camera, I am using slackware 8, kernel 2.5.1, scsi is compiled into the kernel and so is vfat.

The camera shows up in /var/log/messages  and in  /proc/bus/usb/devices
I have the usb-storage.o module loaded. The issue is that scsi doesnt seem to be working right. The device does not show up in /proc/scsi/scsi, I dont have any real scsi devices, it shows "Attached devices: none"

the I: line in /proc/usb/devices however looked a bit odd to me

I:   If#= 0 Alt= 0 #EPs= 3 Cls=08(stor.) Sub=ff Prot=01 Driver=(none)

cat /proc/usb/drivers    shows
usbfs
hub
usb-storage

How do I get scsi to see this device?? Thanks to anyone who helps :)
