actually i have a 770C[1] and it works well with pilot-link
(protocol-rewrite branch) and coldsync. The only problem is when i
when to connect to /dev/usb/tts/1 i get :

usbserial.c: Sony Cli� 4.0 converter now attached to ttyUSB1 (or usb/tts/1 for devfs)
visor.c: Device lied about number of ports, please use a lower one.

which is harmless since i use tts/0 for everything

[1]  which should be the same as 750/760.
