I'm trying to connect a Nex II MP3 player/CF card adapter to a RH7.1(kernel 2.4.5) setup - I've checked on linux-usb.org and apparently others have successfully connected this device using usb-storage.o and mounting as a SCSI device.
All the appropriate SCSI support is in the kernel (system is SCSI only), plus USB support for UHCI controller and usb_storage complied as modules. /proc/bus/usb correctly identifies the 2 ports and lists drivers for usbdevfs and hub. In theory (after checking the Howto), /proc/scsi/scsi should have listed the Nex II as a SCSI device ready for mounting. Only the HD and CD are listed. I'm sure I'm missing a vital link here so, appreciate any ideas on how to solve this. Cheers, Andi _______________________________________________ [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe, use the last form field at: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/linux-usb-users
