RH 7.2 comes with 2.4.7-10. You can easily upgrade it to 2.4.9 provided by RH. > Could anyone tell me what should I do?? > PS: I've tried the 2.4.16 kernel, and the camera works fine...... The easiest way is: 1. Identify module which hadles your camera 2. Follow the instruction from: http://www.fuw.edu.pl/~pliszka/hints/redhat-module.html get the source code for both 2.4.7 and 2.4.16 and see what makes your camera working - apply it to 2.4.7 file (you may copy the whole file - it usually works but not always) and compile 3. test it with insmod 4. if everything is fine copy it to the proper /lib/modules subdirectory and run depmod -a Good luck, Jacek _______________________________________________ [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe, use the last form field at: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/linux-usb-users
