Hi,
I am having trouble with a Logitech QuickCam pro 3000.
I have downloaded a 2.5.0 kernel and selected the proper options
(video4linux, usb support, your pwc driver
as a module....)
and:
>modprobe pwc
Feb 25 20:36:26 fletxa10 kernel: pwc Philips PCA645/646 +
PCVC675/680/690 + PCVC730/740/750 webcam
module version 8.3 loaded.
Feb 25 20:36:26 fletxa10 kernel: pwc Also supports the Askey VC010,
Logitech Quickcam 3000 Pro and the Samsung
MPC-C10 and MPC-C30.
Feb 25 20:36:26 fletxa10 kernel: usb.c: registered new driver Philips
webcam
Feb 25 20:36:26 fletxa10 kernel: pwc Logitech QuickCam 3000 Pro
detected.
Feb 25 20:36:26 fletxa10 kernel: pwc Registered as /dev/video0.
Then, the module is correctly loaded, when i run the "vic" program
(a videoconference application), i got
the following error:
>vic 192.168.1.1/6666

I have tried the modprobe with different options but the only thing
i can see is a green image.
This camera works fine on the same PC but under Windows 2000. My
hardware is a Pentium 3 - 800Mhz
with 512MB.
Thank you in advande,
Best Regards,
Alberto Cabellos
