Thank you Brad for replying to my incomplete mail :)
I am attaching the output of dmesg and /proc/bus/usb/devices and/
proc/bus/usb/drivers.
As you can see the printer device is not identified(registered) here and
hence i am unable to configure the pinter. I tried using printconf too on RH
7.2 to configure the printer and the tool was unable to identify the lp
device. Therefore i manually added "/dev/usb/lp0" as the lp device and
configured the printer. After when i start lpd it displays following error:
"Starting lpd: Warning - q1: cannot open lp device '/dev/usb/lp0' - No such
device"
How can i solve this problem
