I am trying to get a Camedia MAUSB-4W CompactFlash/SmartMedia reader working in Linux.
I'm running RedHat 7.2 with all the patches and kernel version 2.4.18 with no patches applied. I have compiled SCSI disk support and USB mass storage support into the kernel. I have also tried compiling the SanDisk SDDR-09 support into the kernel but have had no success. I can mount my Olympus C-3020 Zoom camera no problem with the following command: mount -t vfat /dev/sda1 /mnt/smartmedia -o umask=000 Contents of /proc/bus/usb/devices is attached as devices.txt.
