Please could anybody help tell me where I'm going wrong.

I'm trying to set up a USB serial modem on my IBM Thinkpad (RedHat Linux
2.2.16-22).

I've run :-
insmod usb-core.o ; insmod usb-uhci.o ; insmod usb-serial.o vendor=0x67b
product=0x2303
and then kermit to /dev/ttyUSB0

But I can't see any data transfer taking place to or from the modem.
I've tried plugging my modem into the USB of a Thinkpad running Windoze and
it all works fine.

Please help :-)

Kinds regards
Roy

PS. Is there any debugging that I can invoke ?
