I just updated my kernel to 2.4.18-5 vis the Redhat Network. On reboot I could not get
an IP for my Toshiba PCX1100U after a long timeout.My USB mouse (Logitech Optical USB)
does not work either. I rebooted using the previous kernel 2.4.18-4 and everything
loads fine! Can some one help me or knwo what is going on?

I ran 'ifconfig eth0' up and received the following errors:

usb_control/bulk_msg: timeout
CDCEther.c: usb_set_interface() failed
CDCEther.c: Attempted to set interface 1
CDCEther.c: To alternate setting 2
CDCEther.c: CDC_Ether_opencan't enable_net_traffic() - - 1
SIOCSIFFLAGS: Input/Output error
