I have actually been to that site (or a mirror) a number of times. 
There is an entry for model 75, which is very similar, but none for 77. 
None of the comments for any Sandisk reader hint at any image corruption
problems.  I think I'm going to have to investigate this one myself, but
I have no idea where to start.  I'll probably add an entry on that site
too saying that this model does not work.
