Has anyone successfully read a memory stick from a Sony Cyber-shot camera DSC P9?
I can: 1. download images via usb using jphoto and the PTP model 2. mkfs an ext2 on a memorystick and use it well via a Sitecom multi-memory reader/write. 3. I can't mount a camera memroystick using msdos/vfat with options like fat=12, blocksize=1024. I keep getting bad superblock error. 4. If if dd the device directly I can read 100's of blocks and can see that it is a filesystem (even FAT12 appears!) but if I try what I think is the correct value for the whole device, then the kernel hangs. Any help gratefully received.
