I don't have a camera; I have a Clie. But I have no trouble mounting memory sticks as they're formatted when sold by Sony, or as the Clie formats them; I use "mount -t vfat" plus whatever other options seem appropriate for the moment. I am using the USB-interfaced memory-stick reader built into a Picturebook.
