I recently purchased an Asus Terminator (K7 version), slapped in a Duron 850 and
installed Gentoo Linux 1.2. I've been struggling ever since to get my USB devices
working.
I've built my kernel with (module) USB support, and the UHCI controller (since the
KT133 supports UHCI).
What happens is this: "modprobe usbcore" works fine, but if I "modprobe usb-uhci" I
get told "init_module: No such device." I then tried the JE driver, but "modprobe
uhci" gives me an Oops.
I've looked in the Linux-USB archives, and elsewhere, but I've not had much joy
finding a solution to my problem. I have seen, however, comments in the linux-kernel
mailing list about the KT133 chipset not being so hot.
In the interests of conserving bandwidth, I've culled my dmesg output - I've listed
