Hi people, I just subscribed to this list, so please forgive me if this has been asked before. Actually, i think it has, but I couldn't see a solution to the problem.
I have a Sony Vaio U1 .. I also have a USB to serial adapter cable. The cable works fine with my Toshiba laptop, but on the Vaio I get this error message: "missing kernel or user mode driver pl2303" lsmod says .. usbserial 17568 0 [pl2303] [snip] usbcore 51328 1 [pl2303 usbserial hid usbmouse usb-storage usb-ohci] If I try to dial out on my Nokia phone I don't see any reaction until I hit ^C to abort the script .. the phone then says the connection has been broken. So it seems that it's kind of working, but not completely. Does anybody have any bright ideas?
