Hello all. I have an Archos MP3 player that works perfectly over USB.
However, I must manually enter the mount/unmount commands after I plug
it in. That's not so bad for me, but it's an issue for my
Linux-challenged brother.
Is there any way to mount the Archos automatically when it is plugged
in? I'll even settle for something in /proc.

A bit more explanation...
The reason why my brother has a hard time is because he also has a Canon
digital camera that works the same way. I must admit, it does get
confusing to remember which device is mounted where and when. If I
could make it so that these devices automatically mount on device
insertion, all reads and writes are synchronous, and unmount on device
removal, things would become MUCH easier to sue.
Thanks for any help!
