Hi! I put in my shiny new USB 2.0 $9 controller (Iogear with NEC chipset) with my USB 2.0 enclosure and it works but there are a few problems.
1. Looks like it is working even slower than USB 1.1 specs 2. I am getting in dmesg: ehci-q.c: ep 2-in qtd token 800d8d40 --> status -32 hcd.c: giveback urb c7de4d40 status -32 sr0: scsi-1 drive ehci-q.c: ep 2-in qtd token 000d8d40 --> status -32 hcd.c: giveback urb c7de4d40 status -32 ISO 9660 Extensions: Microsoft Joliet Level 3 ehci-q.c: ep 2-in qtd token 000d8d40 --> status -32 hcd.c: giveback urb c7de4d40 status -32 ehci-q.c: ep 2-in qtd token 800d8d40 --> status -32 hcd.c: giveback urb c7de4d40 status -32 I/O error: dev 0b:00, sector 76 ISOFS: unable to read i-node block ISOFS: changing to secondary root ehci-q.c: ep 2-in qtd token 800d8d40 --> status -32 hcd.c: giveback urb c7de4d40 status -32 Kernel: 2.4.18-3 from Red Hat. Now my questions: Does somebody know what these messages mean ? Can it be caused by the cable (it may not be USB 2.0 cable) ? Do you think getting newer kernel will help ? Of course when I plug in the device into USB 1.1 ports of my motherboard everything works fine. Thanks for any help, Jacek ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by: OSDN - Tired of that same old cell phone?
