Hi, I just bought an mp3 player today that has an usb interface to upload mp3 files. Since the software is windows only, I tried to mount it as an usb-storage device. But unfortunatelly the vendor and devide id are not in the default list, so I get some message that the devide is not claimed by any driver. Now I was wodering if there was some way to specify the parameters for the device so that the usb-storage module can use it and how I could find out what those parameters are. I played around with some of the hotplug files, but without success so far.
