Hi I'm trying to configure a USB modem on a RH 7.3 (kernel 2.4.18) system for dial in purposes...
I'm using mgetty to answer calls coming in on /dev/input/ttyACM0 and it's mostly working fine i.e. I get a login ... and can enter the system, *but* have some serious problems with stty settings... It doesn't seem possible to get the tty driver settings correct for "cooked" mode so that when ENTER is pressed at the end of a line of input, it either echoes output on the same line (never linefeeding), or if onlcr is turned off I get doorstepping (never carriage returning) It's kinda like onlcr being set replaces LF with CR rather than adding a CR.. In "raw" mode it seems to work fine.. Anyone else see this? -- Tony Scholes SARL Emblard ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Welcome to geek heaven. http://thinkgeek.com/sf _______________________________________________ [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe, use the last form field at: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/linux-usb-users
