Hi, This is my first post to the list, I am not subscribed so if you could direct the mail to me (and the list if you like) that would be great.
HARDWARE: Sony Vaio PCG FX 502 Laptop OS: Linux Distribution: Red Hat 8.0 Kernel: 2.4.20 Vanillia + Latest ACPI Patches I have a USB to PS/2 Adaptor for keyboard and mouse. I tried plugging in the adaptor with the PS/2 mouse attached to it... It loads hotplug, loads all the modules correctly (uhci-usb) However I keep getting these errors flooded to stdout : "usb_control/bulk_msg: timeout" and after a while, things like : "USB device not accepting new address=3 (error=-110)" This USB Adaptor works 100% fine under XP, and I refuse to believe it can't work under Linux with some sort of tweaking... Any sort of help or any advise to point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated , if you need any more info from me please let me know. -- Regards, David Jacobson Unix Enthusiast ------------------------------------------------- GnuPG key is available at www.leet.org/pubkey.gpg -------------------------------------------------
