lsusb is reading directly from the device. So if it says the device is made by 
Samsung, it is probably really a Samsung chip (although the converse is not 
always true - it could be a Samsung chip with someone elses vendor number 
programmed in through a I2C device, or similar.

My suggestion - ignore the product manufacturer, and post a link to the 
samsung chip. Does the chip documentation have a set of descriptors? Do they 
match your device?
