To save the "RTM (read the manual)/RTA (read the archives)" folks the keystrokes I have searched using Google, installed and rebooted twice, and consulted the Memorex manual, all to know avail. I cannot get RedHat 8.0 to recognize this new USB scanner.
That said, I cannot get RH8 to recognize anything other than my USB mouse (Logitech Optical Mouse). I understand that a mouse is routed differently by USB than other more complex devices, but there my understanding of USB ends. Help, please?
