Hi Dhruba,
You may want to read the information in the USB User Guide and USB
2.0 (for instance, all ports are both USB1 and USB2) on www.linux-usb.org.
It sounds like you are using the built in BIOSes support for the USB mouse
and keyboard and there isn't much we can do to fix that. If you actually
try to use the real USB support (which means turning it on in the kernel
and BIOS) you may get some help here. The above guide (and the FAQ on that
site too) should help you configure the system so that it loads the
correct drivers so that the mouse and keyboard work natively with Linux
USB.
