But a better solution still would be to continue to use my existing
firewall machine. It is a Pentium 100Mhz machine with 48 MB of RAM. I
assumed I would have to scrap it as it does not have USB. But if
I upgraded this to RedHat Linux 7.2 with a 2.4.18 kernel, could I add
a USB host card, and run the ADSL modem off that, or is this hardware
combination too problematical?
