I can't get my Alacatel SpeedTouch USB 330 ADSL modem working. I have posted messages to the Speedtouch driver list (I am using the user-space driver), but have had no helpful responses there other than to try this list.
These are the messages I get when trying to activate the device: Feb 14 07:07:36 colina modem_run[1148]: modem_run version 1.2-beta1 started by root uid 0 Feb 14 07:07:39 colina kernel: usb_control/bulk_msg: timeout Feb 14 07:07:39 colina kernel: usbdevfs: USBDEVFS_BULK failed dev 3 ep 0x85 len 512 ret -110 Feb 14 07:07:39 colina kernel: usb-uhci.c: interrupt, status 2, frame# 1598 Feb 14 07:07:39 colina modem_run[1148]: BLOCK1 Feb 14 07:07:39 colina kernel: usbdevfs: USBDEVFS_BULK failed dev 3 ep 0x5 len 991 ret -110 Feb 14 07:07:39 colina kernel: usb.c: USB disconnect on device 3 Feb 14 07:07:39 colina modem_run[1148]: BLOCK0 Feb 14 07:07:39 colina last message repeated 2 times Feb 14 07:07:39 colina kernel: hub.c: USB new device connect on bus1/2, assigned device number 4 Feb 14 07:07:39 colina modem_run[1148]: BLOCK0 Feb 14 07:07:39 colina kernel: usb.c: USB device 4 (vend/prod 0x6b9/0x4061) is not claimed by any active driver.
