Hello.
Has anyone had any success accessing Sony MiniDV Camcorders via USB under
Linux? I am NOT refering to Sony Memory Stick. I have a non-memory
stick camera, but supposedly it can perform other functions via USB other
than just memory-stick access. Ultimately, I'd like to use the USB on it
so the cam can act as a webcam. Supposedly the camera can do
"USB-Streaming", but have yet to get clarification as to what it really
is; the manual only tells you how to use USB-Streaming under Win32, not
 what it can do.
If anyone can tip me in a direction I'd be very greatful. I'm currently
grabbing movies off it via FireWire and dvgrab with no problems. The
model is: Sony DCR-TRV19 MiniDV Handycam.
  Thank You.
