Every time I try to get a mass storage device running with USB2.0 the
machine crashes within seconds (or less) of attempting to use it.
I've got a Belkin USB2.0 hub that will crash Linux if you just look at
/proc/bus/usb, or if you plug something in when hotplug is running.

This is with kernels 2.4.18-2.4.20 inclusive and 2.5.69 using glibc
2.3.1, and both gcc 3.2 and 3.2.3, on several different motherboards
(Intel, SIS and VIA chipsets) ranging from PentiumII 400 to Duron 1300.

This isn't a cry for help, just a heads up to be careful out there...

But I'm more at ease with USB1.1 now that I can talk to two USB devices
at once on the Duron box. (Duron 1300, 3.2.3, kernel 2.5.69, simultaneous
reading from Smartmedia and writing to Zip disc. :)

Ged.
