Thanks for your advice. I tried with 2.5.70, and it works fine with the uhci_hcd module. Otherwise, I did not get positive results with both ehci_hcd and ohci_hcd. I tried with the latest 2.4 (2.4.21-rc8), but still failure. The conclusion of all this looks like the "intel 82801DB USB rev 01" is ok, but the next revision "intel 82801DB USB rev 02" does not work anymore with 2.4.
