Make : QTEC.
I have put a Maxtor 80 Gb hdd into it.
It is detected by my SuSE 8.2 as /dev/sda1 and works fine for a few minutes but then I get a journal message saying :
"write buffer failed".
The device disappears from /etc/fstab and can no longer be accessed.
Shutdown is impossible. I have to turn off power.
I am a layman. Can you help me ?
