Um, the host can't disconnect the device. Odds are the device is disconnecting itself, due to a flaky connection, or a underpowered hub. Does the same thing happen with this keyboard on another machine? Does a different keyboard work just fine on this machine? What does the kernel log say about these disconnections/reconnections?
