Hi,

I'm a newbie with usbserial and I'm trying develop a linux software to
update the filesystem (ie. to transfer 30 Mb files) of StrongARM PDA via
USB.
The PDA I'm using now is a Yopy3700. Such a software for MSWindows is
already bundled with the Yopy and is working fine and quickly.
I already developed a piece of code that send the stream to the Yopy. It's
merely working but it is very slow compared to the original (ie. Windows)
version; it's just looking like I was using a real serial link = 10 kbyte/s.

I tried to modify the link speed and several other paramters by using the
tcsetattr's family functions but nothing is changing. I cannot even reduce
the speed.

My distrib is a Mandrake 8.1 (Kernel: 2.4.8-29mdk)

Installed modules look like:

Module Size Used by
usbserial 18288 7
usb-uhci 21232 0 (unused)
usbcore 50752 1 [usbserial usb-uhci]
....

Is this speed normal ? Did someone already got better rates ? How ?
