I try with scanner module or with libusb and the problem is always the same.
The timeout occurs when i launch xsane for example. (I try to increase from 5
seconds to 30 seconds the timeout but this patch dont avoid the problem)

During the test i had use always root. (I try from a different PC, an asus
laptop and i have the same problem)

I have to download the 2.6 kernel, as soon as possible i'll test the scanner
on it.
