Hi,

I have a BT Home Highway connection with a USB interface, which I access from
Redhat Linux 8. The connection frequently hangs up with an E001B error or
sometimes no error at all. If I unplug the USB connector from the back of my
computer and re-insert it, then wait a few seconds I can usually dial up
successfully again. What I wanted to ask, is whether there is any way to do the
same purely through software, so I could automate the recovery process using
expect or something?
